Electrical Estimates have completed various office and shop refit projects to both occupied and non-occupied buildings including works to lighting, mains distribution, small power, data, fire alarm and emergency lighting, Electrical Estimates work closely with most of the top end manufacturers and can co-ordinate site visits and designs to meet your requirements, taking the stress of design and ensuring all of the latest regulations and HSE requirements are met.

We have dedicated a Project Manager who is able to work with you to deliver the best solution that meets or exceeds the Part L building control requirements.

Electrical Estimates are committed to the implementation and promotion of Health and Safety at Work Act, and all other relevant regulations and legislation.  It recognises that the highest priority must be accorded to ensuring safe methods of work at all times.  It also regards the promotion of health and safety matters as a mutual duty and objective of all management and employees. It is therefore, the company’s declared intention to ensure, as far as is reasonably practical, that none of our employees or other persons' not in our employment, but who may be affected by our undertakings are exposed to risks to his / her health, welfare and safety.

To achieve this intention the company will:

Obtain and keep up-to-date knowledge of legislation, codes of practice, and other technical and professional guidance on health and safety relating to the company’s activities.

Inform all employees, as relevant to their duties at any given time, of their statutory obligations as to, for example, safe methods of work, use of protective equipment, etc and point out known hazards which may be involved in their work.  Issue a copy of this policy to all staff and updates as appropriate.

Provide integrated safety and job training for all employees as is necessary to safeguard their own and other persons’ health and safety.

Expect the compliance of all employees with all relevant safety regulations and rules, and actively encourage their co-operation in establishing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all.

Appoint a Health and Safety Officer, and, through existing staff structure, continuously monitor the effectiveness of its arrangements for health and safety, as required by current legislation. Ensure that this safety policy is kept up-to-date with current working experience, latest official and professional guidance and new or amended legislation.

To this end, therefore, concern for health and safety must be an integral part of company organisation at all levels, and the Owner’s mean to ensure that this concern will be translated into effective action.

SAFE Contractor Approved

Electrical Estimates is an approved SAFE Contractor. Under the SAFE Contractor system, businesses undergo a vetting process, which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users only via a secure website portal.

Employer-organisations who sign up to the scheme can access the database, which enables them to vet potential contractors before they even set foot on site. These employers agree that, as users of the scheme, they will engage only those who have received accreditation. Over eighty major nationwide businesses, from several key sectors, have signed up to use the scheme when selecting contractors for services such as building, cleaning, maintenance, refurbishment or electrical and mechanical work.
