Electrical Estimates undertake all Electrical Installation work

Electrical Estimates are proud to be an enrolled with NICIEC as a FULL Scope domestic installer. In short, this simply means that Electrical Estimates are recognised by all councils, and can provide the relevant certification to ensure that any works from a single socket to a full re-wire that may be carried out within your property is carried out in a safe and professional manner, that coupled with having all works carried out being insurance backed, we leave nothing to chance, and provide a stress and trouble free service.

The Domestic Installer Scheme is NICEIC's approval for contractors undertaking work within the scope of Part P of the Building Regulations.


What is the Domestic Installer Scheme?

NICEIC's Domestic Installer Scheme has been approved to register installers to Full Scope or Defined Competence for domestic electrical installation work in accordance with Part P Building Regulations. The scheme covers design, installation and inspection and testing and certification of electrical installation work associated with dwellings, intended to operate at low or extra low voltage.

The scopes of registration are:

Full Scope

Full Scope covers the full range of domestic electrical installation work. This is for those businesses that carry out electrical installation work as the main part of their business.
Full Scope covers:

Plumbing
Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom
Security systems
Gas heating
Loft Conversions
Telecommunications
Oil-Fired heating Extensions
Door/gate entry  
Solid fuel heating
Conservatories
CCTV
Extractor fans
Garden installations
Maintenance
Air conditioning
Swimming pools
Stair lifts
Spa baths
Whether Electrical Estimates manage to secure any works or not, you must ask any proposed electrician if they are Part P recognised and can they produce the correct certification for your contract - if not you may find you can not get building control certification, on you extension or new home.
